About The Artist

Deborah Zavon lives and works in New York City. She studied art at New York University earning a BA at NYU College of Arts and Sciences. She studied at The New School of Social Research, The School of Visual Arts, The New York Academy of Art and the Art Students League where she is a life member. She has enjoyed classes with several artists including Steven Kidd, Sherry Camhy, James McElhinney, Oldrich Teply, Joseph Peller, Frederick Brosen, Dan Thomson and Michael Pellettieri.  She has taught art in Maryland and Maine.  Deborah attended Great Neck North High School where she was a member of the Art Club, published in the year book, and won art awards. She lived in Maryland and attended Maryland College of Art and Design and conducted her own a design business.
