Deborah Zavon

About the artist

Deborah Zavon lives and works in New York.  She has studied art at New York University earning a BA at NYU College of Arts and Sciences. She continues her art studies at The New School of Social Research, The School of Visual Arts, The New York Academy of Art and the Art Students League where she is a life member. She has enjoyed classes with artists including Steven Kidd, Sherry Camhy, James McElhinney, Oldrich Teply and Joseph Peller. She has lived and worked in Boston and Maryland.  She has taught art in Maryland and Maine. She specializes in portraiture and illustration.
Deborah attended Great Neck North High School where she was a member of the Art Club, published in the year book, and won art awards. She lived in Maryland and attended Maryland College of Art and Design and conducted her own a design business.

Her work has been shown in:
